These three ideas run through Saints. The women who play for the club decide where it goes, from the football and partnerships to the way we look, speak and tell our story.
Saints began after players knew what it felt like to be kept in the shadows of men’s teams. We wanted a football home where the team, its achievements and all the personalities within it could be seen, celebrated and taken seriously.
Being independent means the women of Saints shape what the club becomes: the football, the partnerships, the visual identity and the stories we share beyond match day.

April 2024
Saints begins
An independent, women-led football club starts in South West London.

From the beginning
Belief from the beginning
Tolian’s Deli in Tooting backed Saints when there was very little to see beyond the people and the ambition. They believed in us before there was much to prove it.

2025
Cup winners in season one
Saints defied the odds, beat Peckham Town 1–0 and lifted the LWSFL Division 1 Cup in our very first season.

Season one
A season to remember
That first season gave us so many goals, moments and celebrations worth keeping. Holly Blount’s illustrations later became retro shirts, turning those memories into something we could actually wear.

Undefeated league winners
In only our second season, we finished top of Southern Saturday Women’s Football League Division 1 without losing a league game.

We will never grow faster than we can look after our players, and we will never take a step that risks the culture people love.
03 / The difference
The wonderful Saints community.
The pinnacle of the Saints community so far was Saints vs WAGs, friends and family. Everyone who cares about the club came together for a cause close to one player’s heart, including players, partners, friends, family and supporters. More than 40 people took to the pitch and over 20 supporters lined the sidelines for The Eve Appeal. The WAGs did hammer Saints 6–1, but we love their support enough to forgive them.
That community and grit come out every year in the 12-hour football marathon for Tackle Africa. Saints has become notorious for going undefeated all day, only to fall at the final hurdle. Together, the marathon efforts have raised over £5,000 for the charity.
A club people keep choosing
People choose Saints season after season and often tell us it is the best football home they have found. Even when life takes someone away from South West London, they stay part of the Saints family.

Building a club that can last.
We will only grow when we know we can keep looking after people properly. Every next step needs the right people and support behind it, and it has to protect the culture that makes Saints feel like Saints.
